How to verify an electronic apostille?
- the file must contain an affixed electronic apostille
- the file size must not exceed 50 MB
- the file must not be corrupted or password-protected

The system compares the uploaded file against the documents in the registry. If no exact match is found, it additionally attempts to recognize the apostille number and date directly from the document's text.
What is an apostille?
How does it work?
An apostille is verified by uploading the document file bearing the electronic apostille. The system checks the uploaded file against the registry.
This site only allows verification of apostilles affixed by the competent authority of Ukraine — the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine — after 09.11.2015.
If no exact file match is found, the system attempts to recognize the apostille number and date directly from the uploaded document's text and check them against the registry.
What is the expected verification result?
If the check succeeds, the apostille — and in some cases the document it was affixed to — will be displayed on screen.
Otherwise, check whether the apostille is subject to verification in this registry and whether the entered data is correct, or contact the competent authority that issued the apostille directly.
